Steve Bruce and Warnock are very similar characters in terms of football management.

If Bruce doesn't rate him - overweight, lack of comittment etc - then I doubt Colin would want him either.

If that's the best we can do, let's see out this season with what we have.

No but watching today I could have done better than Zahore. Has the touch of an elephant.
Even Fred would have been better.

    .....mmm maybe not<yikes>

I'd have him.. Might be lazy but he gets goals... Something we are desperately missing.

    big nay.

Short term thinking for me. Save the money, keep us safe and hope Tan's ambition matches Colin's. Do business in the summer.

What we need is a guy who can pick up the ball in our own half....Dribble past a couple of midfielders...Power to the opposition's box and perfectly chip the keeper...Hang on a sec......

I must admit, it's been a good while since I've seen a goal taken so bloody brilliantly. I don't think Ken is going to get us a shed load of goals whatsoever, but I certainly think he is capable of it after some experience.

In those few seconds he showed strength, power, pace, determination and a deft touch. Would have had a second were it not for a great save from their keeper.

Just got to repeat the goal action more often. Great ball from Whitts to give him the opportunity, in just the right place. Shows what we miss when Whitts isn't playing.

Let's hope Colin gets Bellamy and the other coaches working hard with him to harness the potential.
Did Warnock make a statement by not signing anyone and loaning a few out. 'I can finish in a reasonable position with a small squad with little spent! Just think what I can do with a few quality signings! ! ! ! Over to you Vincent. '
