Yes, it was a less than marvellous night for some of our players but we got there in the end. I was kind of hoping for Liverpool but will go and see Shakhtar as I never got to see them at the Cottage.
Oh dear, young Pat Roberts is going to get some stick from Celtic fans for this - The Old Firm Cup game ended 2-2 and Rangers won 5-4 on penalties.
The cost of staying in the premiership, or not; unless of course you are Daniel Levy. please log in to view this image
Did anyone see the private message image being shown on twitter yesterday evening (it seems to have been removed) supposedly from a Fulham player after the Brighton game. It seemed they were speaking to another teams player on iMessage saying something like 1.we were ****. 2. but you played 3. yea I know bro.. He then went on to have a go at Jokanovic methods and Khan, Wish I'd captured it but I didn't think it was authentic as the sender had blanked out the players account and could have been written by any one. But if that is the atmosphere in the dressing room then it doesn't bode well.
There will be a big clear out I'm the summer. I don't think many of the players have the quality that Joka expects.
Today is the big one here, by the way. Sevilla at home to Betis. Not overly confident. Not had a great run of late - not won since 13th March and lost four and drawn one of the last 5. Anyway, it's a 3:00pm kick off so it will just be like going to the cottage on a Saturday. Apart from the temperature (77 degrees today) and the match day burger, which is replaced by a bag of churros
Hey, it was nice and sunny at the Cottage yesterday Fulhaman, weatherwise anyway. Sevilla appear to have the same problem as Fulham at the moment; a leaky defence. Conceding 11 goals in those last five games (exactly the same as us!). Looking at your team on their website, apart from the QPR exile, one name caught my eye and only because Corey Gameiro our one time Aussie striker used to be a favourite of mine in the U21s. Hope your striker, Kevin of the same name, bangs a few in for you today.
Yep. 2 - 0 in the end. Kevin (makes me think of a bloke from 1970's Birmingham) and Coke. Happy Days.
The party marches on Fulhaman ..... just please log in to view this image That man Gameiro again! What's that now, 26 goals this season?
It is - How about we trade him for Rosco for a season. Win-win. Lucky yesterday but 2 away goals should see us through, I think.
That man Kevin Gameiro again - twice. So Sevilla win 3-1 and go through 5-3 on aggregate to their third final on the trot. Must have been a great night Fulhaman. Well done to your lot, and you got your wish. please log in to view this image
It will bring back some wonderful memories from the win in snow at St Jacob's for Fulham to progress from the group stage. Such Happy Days!
Was a great night. Fantastic atmosphere - fans in part of the ground boinging like the Baggies. Don't know if it was on TV in the UK but if you get a chance take a look at the third goal from our right back. That's the sort of right back Fulham could do with.
In the Bolton thread SurlyC mentioned a certain winger doing okay at Celtic. Here's one of Pat Roberts's two goals for them yesterday as they beat Aberdeen 3-1 to seal the Scottish PL title - quite cracker:
Oh dear. Won't repeat the headline in this article for fear of upsetting Fulhaman, suffice to make a Bolton comparison. http://www.uefa.com/uefaeuropaleague/news/newsid=2364064.html
