Certainly "assisting" in our bid for survival. Think he has now set up more goals than Tomlin this season! 2 again today. Granted the first one he can't take much credit for but he's playing his part!

They all played their part today shiny and we will need that effort to be recreated at Blackburn. Formation looked good and Frank Fielding was tremendous and pulled off some critical saves when required. This is the time of our season when we need everyone playing to the same hymn sheet and if they do we could be safe for another year.

If Burton beat Ipswich tonight it drags them into it. Ipswich win and keeps Burton in the mix.
At the moment we are now above Burton, Notts Forest and Brum.

Must just be me then. I have watched him closely for the last two home games and I am simply not impressed.

    I hope he can improve.

Needs a goal, but has created space for others and been a supplier. I think he is getting to grips with life in the championship and just needs more game time. I thought he looked better playing with Duric and Patterson than Abraham. Work in progress, but for 300k you aint going to get the finished article.

His first touch is shocking. he doesn't get his shots off and he's weak.

His movement is better that Tomlin.. thats about it!

I bet on him to get the first goal today and what a hash he made of that first chance!!

His work rate and movement have made a difference to the TEAM - that's what matters

Replacing 24 goals a season next year is what matters!

As I have said I hope he improves, his work rate is ok, I get the feeling he is a confidence player and he def needs starts to get going.

We will see, jury is still out for me.

Likewise, useful alternative to have though. Lot of running but not sure yet overall

    Arguably Tammy is irreplaceable?

I don't see Taylor doing what Tammy has done, but as gdknac says he is a useful addition.
Young McCluskey is coming through - again a useful addition

To get a direct replacement will see us needing to spend most of the Kodjia money - scary thought really!

Think he will play better with Djuric in the team. But whether he will be a 20 plus striker I seriously doubt.

his previous records seem to underline that point ..maybe 10 in a season is all we will get, certainly need to get Taylor to step up,15 a couple of goals have shown Paterson knows where the net is given starts 8 Engval, needs some starts and may contribute a few.. but maybe not next season.
