Hull City Boss Marco Silva Wins Court Case After Suing Former Sporting CP Director please log in to view this image Hull City manager Marco Silva has won a court case after suing former Sporting director Jose Eduardo for 'aggravated defamation', O Jogo have reported. Silva took legal action after comments made by Eduardo in 2014, when the then Sporting coach was accused of doing things "in his own interest" and attempting to "fire the club's president." Silva was unceremoniously dismissed later that season, despite having led Sporting to a Champions League place and winning a cup. Eduardo will now have to pay Silva €10k in damages, as well as €5,400 towards the Portuguese state to cover court costs. The Tigers boss had originally requested three separate payments of €15k, but the judge decided that the settlement would be counted as one single offence. Silva's involvement with slander does not appear to have distracted him from the job in hand with Hull. Saturday's 3-1 defeat against a resurgent Leicester was a setback, however, leaving them four points off 17th placed Crystal Palace, who beat West Brom. Hull took the lead, but were largely on the back foot at the King Power Stadium. Silva has called on his players to continue to "fight" after the loss. "The numbers are not good for us, that is clear," he told BBC Sport. "We need to fight. We need to always fight, but we can rest and analyse the game now. We have to prepare for the next game against Swansea." A defeat against Swansea on Saturday could prove damaging in Hull's bid for survival, with the gap to safety beginning to look precarious. http://www.90min.com/posts/4686812-...case-after-suing-former-sporting-cp-director?
Wear your scarf like a man, ya big gay Jessie. Glad that he's got his arms folded cos mine still are. We are out of two cups and still in the relegation zone since he arrived. Still stood here tapping me foot, waiting to be convinced.
I don't get it. If it's cold enough to need a scarf he should be wearing more than just a suit jacket. Needs a shave aswell.
