If signings don't appear quickly they'll be frustration and a rift quickly appearing between Silva and Enob. Others have been sacked for saying less.

Enob had Silva lined up before his appointment, and they would have been talking way before then. It was effectively done last Wednesday (if not actually a bit earlier) and unveiled last Thursday. So already near enough a week has past (that's ignoring the period where they would have been discussing before the official appointment / unveiling). Since then the squad situation has got even worse. Yet, no arrivals. I read more into Silva's comments above than have been picked up on, like clear messages to Enob. Watch this space. I fear he is now starting to realise what it's like to work under Enob.

 

I can't see any middle ground with Silva's appointment. He'll either keep us up or he'll be gone inside a month.

That's a bit unfair Driff. How do you know how much work is going on behind the scenes to get players to come here ? It's not like shopping in the supermarket you know. The management team have just arrived from Portugal, I bet they don't know what time they serve breakfast in the hotel yet. FFS, we already have one very expensive player almost through the door, which isn't easy, and I'm sure others will follow.
