I really can't see us getting anything at Anfield. We just cannot keep a clean sheet these days, and I wonder whether most of the players are bothered now. I hope I'm wrong but I'm not confident at all.

Yeh I don't see you getting anything either. Even your customary draw at anfield would be nice but you look fragile atm.

Depends on who we play. I imagine it will be quite a strong team with players then rested against WBA before the final.

We need major work in defence before next season.
Luckily we have an Italian manager coming in next season, and we all know how they like to build from the back.
But as for this game.....am going 2-1 Liverpool, maybe 1-1.

We are 11 unbeaten at Anfield, the crowd is buzzing again and we're playing some good stuff. It all depends on who he puts out there for me. If he plays a weaker team you should be able to get something.

Looking forward to Skrtel v Costa. <laugh>

    Dead rubber!!
Also agree, we have no chance.
But Liverpool may think about their CL spot through Europa.
    That might make things interesting.

We could get a bit of a whooping if we're not careful. I'd predict 3-1 Liverpool.

Traore is 20 anyway, if a player hasn't secured first team football at the top level by his 20th birthday, chances are he never will.
I expect Traore to be a great player one day.......for West Brom, or a club of that stature.

This game can only go one of two ways: -

    Without Mikel playing

We win by a cricket score and the premier league are forced to award us 50 points instead of 3 because we are so ruddy brilliant, immediately handing us the title and eternal glory. We are back in the Champions League and are allowed a bye into next year's final; but only if Mikel is placed in stocks in the European capital of Brussels for the duration of the tournament as a villain all tourists can go and throw fruit at. Stock in Del monte soar accordingly and we are given 100 million by them as Mr Del Monte used to sit in the shed as a boy. We spend the cash on Pogba and Griezman. These signings help us to be the first club to retain the C.L. Happy days.

    With Mikel playing

We lose by a cricket score and everyone in our team comes down with Mikelatosis. A rare disease that causes footballers to turn rubbish. We are promptly relegated to save the league further embarrassment. Roman leaves, we are bankrupt and forced to sell the ground and ground share with Brentford.

These are the only 2 possible outcomes. Don't try and argue against it. Mikel has that much influence. I'm super serious.

There is however, contrary to previous post a third option.
With Mikel on the bench and coming on at half time, score a hat trick to save the day
I will also by then have won tonight's Euro millions and will be making my way down to Stamford Bridge tomorrow to take over from Roman. I then vow to smile on camera no grimaces ever and also will only be seen with ugly women by my side, as I do now. (well one ugly woman anyhow). Just to keep you informed I will also be sending a bunch of thugs to WHL to kick the living daylights out of anything that moves there, even the tea lady just to get even. All this of course is because of John Obi Mikel. Gotta love that guy. ;-)

You'd have to win about 12 Euro Millions in order the have enough money to buy a Premier League football team, especially a top one like ours.
