It wasnt sorted because it wasnt our best headererers there. Itshould have been Harry or Ranoccia. Weve conceded at the back post consistently all season. **** ups made by Dio and niasse. They should not be there.
I kept saying it Dawson was positioned at the near post and the player kept running him under the ball. Thats their plan.

Do you think Adams and Keown would allow themself to be out of position and under the ball when the oppo's have two CB's at the back post.

I dont care whether its **** marking or zonal its a crap strategy.

So when Morgan and Huth come up for a corner you're perfectly happy to see Hudd and Ndiaye mark them rather than Ranoccia and Harry??? Cos they'll be coming back post.
Keane, who is an England contender, couldnt handle Harry and we got a penalty. We left the job of Keane to a CM. We had Harry on him, no goal. FACT

With zonal marking there is no man for man marking, I agree it would be wise to have one of the centre backs near the back post, but if they had not both gone for the ball I am sure Tom would have got his head on it.

From what I have seen since Marco has come in generally we are better at set pieces, against West Brom where we man for man marked we were awful.

I know exactly how zonal works and doesnt work.
    This will be our downfall.
I predict Harry will be marked by Huth or Morgan at our attacking corners.
Huth or Morgan will be marked by whoever at our defensive ones, if we dont change it, and it will be a disaster.

Only one I would consider changing is Meyler in at RB. I thought when he player there he was much better than either Omar or Elmo, he put in some fantastic crosses.

    For anyone interested.

    We're gonna play;

    Schmeichel
    Simpson Morgan Huth Fuchs
    Mahrez Ndidi Drinkwater Albrighton
    Okazaki
    Vardy

Gray will come on after about 70 mins. Slimani will also have an outing now that he's about over his injury troubles.

The one thing ive noticed about Omar is that he never goes on the outside to beat a man and get the cross in, even when one on one in the apposing box he won't get to that by line always coming inside.

As far as I remember since going to this zonal marking that goal is the only one we have conceded from a corner. When we were marking man for man under Phelan we were shipping goals from set pieces for fun. As long as they do their jobs correctly and don't get in each others way then it works.

Yeah, you keep saying. That was the first goal conceded from a back post corner under Silva, wasn't it? It was down to individual error, not the system. Wes Morgan is a big bag of ****, if he scores then we're definitely doomed.

EDIT: Didn't see John's post above ^^^. Still though.

    When does his contract expire?

Personally thought he would be too slow for the Premier League but I suppose Wes Morgan managed it.

We triggered a one year option this season, so it now runs out June 2018.

Evandro will be a big miss. Wouldn't it be nice to have a run of matches where the coach could choose his preferred 11 from a full squad and see how we perform.

What would the selling price be in the summer should you go down or he refuses an extension?
