I think they will be out until after the international break but we feared worse - for Iwobi especially. It is a thigh problem for Iwobi, and Ramsey is a hamstring that will require two or three weeks. It is better news than we feared at the start. on Gabriel… He is doing well, but it is six to eight weeks. He is in the boot, but it is very difficult to assess him because he cannot walk properly at the moment. on whether Ozil, Giroud and Koscielny will be available… Yes, I will consider them for selection this weekend. Of course they have not played any games for a while, so I have to be selective and I cannot go for the three because that would be too risky. But basically with Laurent Koscielny I have no choice! If I have to take a gamble on one, it’s certainly on him.
I assume he has looked at the Holding/Chambers partnership and thought, if Kosc is remotely close to ready he has to play him? And provided he isn't unfit enough that he is risking an injury I agree!
I like Holding actually. Think he's already a better CB than Chambers. Going to be an excellent player. I still think Chambers is better as a RB.
I assume no Portuguese, French, German, Welsh players from the Euros have featured for their clubs yet, seeing as it's impossible to have them fit still
Pretty good lineup and looking forward to how they play. Plenty of pace there and it'll be interesting how Sanchez does as CF. I can see a win here, we always bounce back after loses and we have a good record against Leciester.
A couple of things: 1. we look pretty impotent 2. whenever we get the ball out wide, its only sanchez and maybe walcott in the box...against Huth and Morgan...big surprise that nothing has really happened going forward.
And to add insult to injury, I have to listen to Savage and Hoddle talking utter tripe. ****s. He got the ball, you prick.
Xhaka is the biggest plus. He's looked good. But we look like a team without a CF. Which is exactly what we are.
