Its eleven games to go for the eleventh placed Chairboys and its the Tangerines turn to be entertained at Adams Park they leapfrogged us on Tuesday by beating the Pilgrims and its double header with the Pilgrims in town on Tuesday and after those two difficult games we should have a clear idea if we have a chance of making the playoffs I would say to have a chance we need to have taken a minimum of three points but I have a feeling they could both end in draws. Gaz will be hoping at least two from the super six sick squad are back from injury but as usual we can only speculate. I will be taking my place on the terrace about 2.50pm and will be giving it my all expecting the lads to give it their all in the hope of getting that win that would put us in touching distance of the pack and leapfrog the leapfrogs
Having put the greens away on Tuesday, the tangerines will be expecting to do the same to us. Our injuries have come at a bad time and we seem to have reverted to our pre winning streak form. We'll be lucky to get anything out of this game with a weakened side against a team that have hit form. Still, if the desire is there and Blackpool have an off day, we might grab all 3 points. Fingers crossed. Enjoy your afternoon Guy, and anyone else who is going.
Sorry to burst your bubble Chavboys, but you don't have any 'chance' of making the play-offs! Can't wait for next season when you slum dwellers are relegated back to the non-leagues where you undoubtedly belong!
Need to get 4 points from 2 very tough games to keep ourselves in the playoff race - gaz has mentioned that a couple of players could be due back from injury, lets hope its kashket and pierre! Will be interested to see southwell, apparently very good last week
Going up to see this one today hopefully back to our home form from earlier in the season. Teams do look like they perform better away from home in this league. Expect Pompey to give Col U a good hiding.
