A defeat at Elland Road would be unforgivable given how indifferent the current Leeds team is, but not totally unexpected given how utterly inconsistent we seem to be this season.

Should we lose, at least we can look to get some revenge in early November.

 

It's going to be one of those games where we get to see some of the fring players who did so well at Everton. Much depends on how much AN wants to win and more importantly how much the players want to win. Ruddy, Martin, Bassong, Bennett, Olsson?, Josh M, Pritchard,
Mulumba, Canos?, Naismith, Basil

 

Just seen Whittaker not involved as had stomach surgery relating to a previous hernia, A N reluctant to play Dorrans & Tettey as both 1 yellow away from suspension. So what about Thompson and Godfrey ?
Seems obvious to me?
Apparently Jarvis not too far away so another reason for Brady to shape up and put in some proper effort.

 

Doesn't Ryan Jarvis play for Lowestoft now ?

 

What is the situation with Canos? He has not been involved in any match for several weeks now. Injured? Not heard anything about it if so.

 

I think thats pretty unfair, take away the first 5 games of the season and perhaps we'd be in top 2, definitely top 6 (I haven't checked that stat by the way )

We had a slow start due to lack of pre-season planning but have found our rhythm now. Should be a good game but I can see both teams resting a fair few players so maybe not, our squad is not the biggest in all honesty so we may really struggle if we rest too many.

 

Looking at the teams you have played it is hardly surprising you have had a turn in fortune to be honest but I don't want to be too harsh as we only seem to be capable of beating teams in the lower half of the league as well

If it's a reserve match, or predominantly so then I fancy our chances as we have got decent squad depth in comparison. I wont be staying up to listen in though, just can't be doing with it for midweek fixtures these days.

Morning Thai, we lost 3 out of the first 5 games. We were not ready for the start of the season.

Since then, think we have won 5 from 8, and drew one.

I don't think we will go through tonight. It's very Norwich to beat a solid Prem team away then lose to a shaky Championship side in the next round. Monk is slowly turning the corner with Leeds, and we are playing dogsh*t at the moment.

I can see a 1-0 Leeds or something.
