    Agreed regarding Cooper.

Seems Janson may have been excluded for disciplinary reasons.

Yellow card cut off date. (copied off web)
(It states that for the 31st December, when this is the cut off date, that if you receive a card on the 1st Jan. you would be alright. Now we get onto the second Sunday in April, which is 13th April. Using the same guidelines for the December one, my interpretation means that you have to get to the 14th April (the Monday) to escape suspension. This means that Stevie G. needs to avoid a booking in his next match (v Man. City) and then all his yellow cards accrued before that date (14th) will be wiped clean for the rest of the season. See the Football Rules below from the FA site:)

Suspensions are automatically imposed for accumulating 5, 10, or 15 cautions in a season. There are cut-off dates for receiving a sanction as a result of accumulated cautions. They are:
    CAUTIONS CUT OFF DATES (Inclusive)
    5 31 December
    10 2nd Sunday in April
    15 End of Season
For example, a player earning their fifth caution of the season on or after 1st January would not earn any ban. However, if they received ten cautions by the second Sunday in April, a ban would apply. Players who receive 20 or more cautions in a season shall be required to attend a Regulatory Commission.

So effectively there is no cut off for janssen, three game ban if he reaches 15.

i think you are correct.he needs to tighten up on his discipline ,he seems a bit of a joker with far too many daft bookings.Monk got it spot on yesterday in midfield.Pontus needs to take a long look at my mom Beradi.best player on the pitch by a mile.not just on ability but his attitude is brilliant.oh for a team with his attitude .

I think perhaps Jansson has done something stupid and Monk has dropped him

Think you are right, this bit from Monk when commenting on why he was dropped...

"That goes for who we are playing against, the set-up, but also the principles we have to follow on a daily basis", he added.

Jansson seems a great lad and if Monk needs to drop him to keep him grounded then so be it but what if it costs us?

Tough one, we're not the best 11 individual players but as a team we are one of the best groups of 11. Depends what Jansson has done?

Jannson has not been sparkling lately, plus his disciplinary is awful, Monk has got the players exactly where he wants them, Beradi played well, Ayling coming back from suspension, Ayling and Bartlet were solid at centre back, use Taylor up to the end now, we have a lot of permutations at the back and dont forget Green, having a great season, we look solid at the back, Wood is scoring for fun up front, Monk has got to be Manager of the year.

On another note i was quoted by a friend in the pub that some of the loanees at the Dog Worrier's e.g. Mooy have to report back to their respective clubs after the season is complete and not available for the playoffs !!! cannot see this but would be good if it was true.
