I don't think anyone would begrudge women and children from Syria being housed until their home is safe enough to return . The blokes should stay and fight in my opinion but if the 2 choices are Isis or Assad ? If they are genuine asylum seekers and come with their wives and kids let the lot in (To Ireland) I say.
Think Ireland are only accepting families although I could be wrong. As an aside, why should the men stay and fight? It's a proxy war being fought in their country by other nations.

We were talking about the Clash, debut album of posh boy punk band of the same name not some US hybrid released nearly two years later and some time after their second album Give em enough rope. The great Joe Strummer, god rest his soul said himself the their debut album was a rushed out hodge podge of terrible production values and inferior musicianship. Whilst admittedly being a seminal Punk rock album there is no doubting it was a disappointment to both him and the genius that is Micheal Henry Jones. You are very welcome.
