He has been a shining light of the heavyweight division in an era where it has been sadly lacking..

Always preferred his brother. Thought Wlad was horrendously rigid and technical. That's more of a reflection of how good UE was at what he did than a criticism, I just found it dull.

Great servant to the sport regardless. Would have liked to have seen the AJ rematch but his heart must be set on life after boxing.

I know that both brothers have a keen interest in politics, so watch this space..

Wasn't exactly a particularly entertaining boxer but incredibly efficient on the whole.

Loved the fight between him and Joshua.

Was Vitali the Mayor of Kiev/the leader of the opposition?

I don't see Wlad's actress wife wanting to move to the Ukraine mind.

Knew AJ v Wlad 2 would never happen. Wlad is only getting older he wouldn't have got a better result next time and the purse would have been mostly AJ's to take. He'd have been brutalised for a decent but not generous pay packet.

Wlad hit Joshua with his best shots, AJ got up and hit back. He was an ok Champion in a woeful era for Heavyweights. Joshua could be anything mind, he's got a chin which all the greats have had. Tyson, Bruno and Lewis , all had glass jaws. Wlad knows the younger Lion will hurt him next time.

Lewis and Tyson at their best would have wiped the floor with Joshua in my humble opinion..

They'd have butchered his face, especially Iron Mike.

Oliver McCall and Buster Douglas were good enough to show their suspect chins, they may have beaten AJ, he's not the finished article yet. We'll never know.
Tyson and Lewis beat what was put in front of them, a very poor lot. Tyson couldn't get near the only great fighter he took on Holyfield. both were average World Champions at best. In my opinion.

You trying to be controversial again?

Tyson would have pounded the **** out of him.

Thought he rolled bums over but couldn't handle being hit, even Bruno wobbled him.
Controversial ? Is that what not agreeing with some on here means ?
Just different opinions now and then Comm, enjoy the new season.

It's a good thing if it means Joshua now fights Wilder or Ortiz.

U suspect Eddie Hearn will protect his investment now and we'll get a couple of poor opponents.

Pulev then a rematch with Whyte. All on box office :-/

Ortiz is and Wilder are jokes. Wilder just windmills wildly like a mother ****er and Ortiz is just average.

I'd rather see the white rematch but it will be Pulev as it was ordered first. He may have to give up the other belt by the looks of it.

    Ortiz is mandatory.

AJ's footwork is 5/10 at best. I'd be quietly confident of Fury beating him to be honest. I really like the guy but he's nowhere near as good as many are making him out to be, Dylian Whyte was one follow up punch away from sending him to sleep.

For mamy a year Tyson was a beast.

Im more concerned that McGregor beats FMJ. It will make boxing a total joke.

Make no mistake that Irish loon has a punchers chance.
