Very sad indeed, back in 1976 I met him when he was just a teenager making his breakthrough into the Palace team. I used to work with his brother-in-law who was a serious drinker but they were both great company and there was never a dull moment when you were out with them. I moved away to Ireland not long after and lost touch with them but if Peter was Kenny's role-model then this is the inevitable result. I sincerely hope he sorts himself out but there are echos of Gazza with this and I fear the worse...
As has already been said, really sad. I know he has been struggling of late, I sincerely hope he pulls his life around, always seemed such a bubbly character when he played for us.
