Jones suffers broken toe in training with England - tackled by Smalling too. His last few performances have been dreadful, and as much as I hate to see someone get injured, with Bailly and Smalling making a better pairing, it could prove a blessing in disguise. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-United-fear-Phil-Jones-miss-vital-games.html
Not really as we've got loads of games to play and he and Bailly is our best partnership in a pair. That said, we do have Fosu-Mensah and Blind who can play at centre half, and Rojo, so it hopefully won't hit us too hard.
Would only be out for a month or so - unfortunately that could mean over 9 games given your fixture list http://metro.co.uk/2017/03/21/phil-...r-united-after-chris-smalling-tackle-6525225/ IMO your best centre back partnership this season was Jones and Rojo - I thought at the beginnning of the season both would be on heir way but they have done really well. Have Bailly and Rojo played together as centrebacks? - I reckon that partnership could work as well. Also has Fosu-Mensah played more then a couple of minutes for you this season - was immense under LvG.
