interesting read. Some won't like this but some might find it interesting. https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...y-lee-johnson-steve-lansdown?CMP=share_btn_tw
AN INTERESTING READ... does show that what so many thought was a cut and dry process was allowed to run its course .... and at last City is "making a plan and making it work" irrespective of who we buy and get rid of in the close season I would be thinking we should be aiming for 11th or 12th... but of course it all depends on who we play and when!!!!
The bottom line without Tammy-LJ would be history. Tammy saved his ass,the loan signing worked out well, who would have believed Tammy would have had the season he did. Will LJ come good next season time willl tell.
Haven't we been over this? But I will say it again, who got Tammy through the door? Oh yes that would be LJ
Two questions- So if Tammy did not do what he did, where would city be next season, simple question. Do you think Johnson would still be in the job.
but he did do what he did, didnt he,(never thought I would write a sentence like that) exactly what jnr got him for.
He done the job that Johnson bought him In to do so the questions are irrelevant. It's like asking Do you think Conte would have lost his job if Chelsea had been relegated?
It was a lousy season, and we think we know wherein the blame lies, and Tammy will almost certainly be gone soon so can we move on to the next campaign? Quite frankly I don't expect much change because that's what Bristol City is, unless you can accept overseas chicken farmers as our type rather than SL. I wish nothing else than to see City thrive rather than survive time after time.
So are you saying you would rather an overseas owner? Because you're not making much sense in that statement
I was asking if we really want owners like the Venky's at Blackburn and my answer would be a definite NO. Despite all my complaints about SL he is at least above board but I hope he's right in believing where we are going in the future.
So without Glen Murray Brighton would not of been promoted? Without Costa Chelsea would not be Premier League Champions? Your philosophy is all about one player and not the others. Yes Abraham done well but in hindsight would Kodjia be allowed to leave if we didn't have Abraham? Or would we had possibly another striker to fill his boots? Anyway you still have not answered me, have you retained your ST seat, or are you moving to another seat?
We would have scored SOME of Tammy's goals even if he hadn't played for us last season. Who knows - Tomlin may have got a few, or Wilbs maybe? We will never know.
IT SEEMS LIKE just for the sake of posting the same old stuff is recycled time and time again which then makes it extremely boring the season ended last week and now we have had a week to reflect this chapter of the book of Bristol City should be closed ....I think I am running out of blue ink on my BCFC606 WHERE I HAVENT READ ALL THE POSTS hopefully there is nothing important contained within! We may have indeed scored maybe 5 or 6 goals less or could have scored 5 or 6 more, without Tammy we did suffer a few defeats, I think that was basically down to just having 1 person who was scoring ? In normal circumstances when you have 3 or 4 strikers rotating you don't miss one that much???
maybe, perhaps, possilbly, had tammy failed another striker might have come in on loan scored 30 or so and we"d be in the play offs, dream on,
