Taxi Driver is one of my top 10 favourite movies of all time Scorcese is a ****ing genius. Guy Ritchie seems to have lost his way a bit. I liked Revolver though. Seems like I was the only one who did.
Scorcese is so ****ing good when you watch Taxi Driver you actually think you've got insomnia too. Very clever film. My Mrs doesn't get it and thinks it's ****
I like this one too... 'sent off for elbowing Carlos Tevez in the face in 2012. As he leaves the pitch, he kicked Sergio Aguero to the back of the knee and attempted to headbutt Vincent Kompany. He had to be dragged from the pitch by former teammate Micah Richards and tries to square up to Mario Balotelli'
He's about my favourite director. Raging Bull, Goodfellas, and more recently The Departed and The Wolf of Wall Street. All great films....
Love all those film. One of my favourite recent films is 'Wolf on Wall Street' - I love that ****. 9.5/10
Scorsese's best film was Gangs Of New York imo. Daniel Day Lewis was perfect, I don't think I blinked once the first time I watched it. As for footballers worse than Joey Barton... El Hadji Diouff and Adam Johnson. At least Barton has comedy value.
Those are some impressive ****ing stats right there....... Though I have to say...... - suspended by Newcastle for calling Alan Shearer "a **** manager" and assistant Iain Dowie "a prick" in 2009 This part did make me laugh
I think we need to differentiate between dirty, sneaky ****s - to which you can add Charlie Adam!, and complete headcases, like Barton. When it comes to the latter I can't think of any worse offhand.
I'd score noncing lower than anything Barton has done so Johnson tops the pile for me. Diouff laughed at a player who was in a heap on the floor with a broken leg, racially abused a ball boy and spat at fans and worst of all, played for Liverpool. Just my picks.
He's a horrible ****, no doubt. But Barton could start a row in a phone box. That's a 'special' talent....
I think the main reason she doesn't get it is she grew up on Yardie films. They are seriously ****... Other than 'The Harder They Come' and 'Rockers' and 'Countryman'. Saying that if you want pure violence and gang **** 'Shotta's' is well worth a watch.
looks like a good enough watch..but if she can sit through them..she got to give some good Scorsese, Tarantino movies a go. You need to find yourself a stoner movie geek on the side mate...norty mate, they norty.
She like's most Scorsese type films. She just doesn't get Taxi Driver for some reason. ****ing weirdo.
