Well done Mr. A. Neil and Co Finally a few points to show, Will keep you in work for a week or two more Now just twenty-one more to go And with only thirteen-odd wins I´d guarantee now, for our sins, We´ll make the play-offs, and easily too And have a chance to save our skins No doubt there´ll still be those around Who had hoped today you´d been downed, Well, to hell with them, for this week at least May they lay their protests on the ground A lot of hot air if you ask me Both a waste of time and energy, With each passing win, the board will stand firm Much to my, and one or two others glee.
Indeed and I remain to be convinced. Cracking win today and the most noise I've heard from the crowd at CR since ...... IF we can pick up 6 or more points by the end of the month, I MIGHT start to dream!!!!!
You're deluded. The win today is as significant as the one against Brentford a month ago. We're still closer to a relegation place than an auto's place. As far as AN goes nothing changes after today's win, AN is still not the right man to take the club forward, whatever happens over the coming months. A change is needed at the club and not just of manager.
No more deluded than the majority on here - and for god´s sake, enjoy it just for once, or are you so embittered you can´t even do that? Anyway, who needs an auto place, it can be done with less, in fact he has done it with less.
Don't get me wrong I'm happy we won, unlike some on here I've never wished for us to lose just to get the manager sacked, even though I suspect that a couple more results like today will see him staying at the club until the end of the season and cause significant long term damage to the club. But equally, unlike some on here, I don't adjust my views on things just on the bases of a couple of results either way. Many fans looked at our results at the start of the season and thought we were better than our performances showed. I suspect there will be some on here that will change their views of AN on the back of our last 2 results, but the truth is over much of last season and this his performance has been poor.
Me neither, and glad to hear that you´re happy, if you can´t be now, then God help you! And as we´ve discussed before, Neil is only a minor part of the problem, a view which I have never wavered from, and unless I see any cause to ( which I haven´t yet) , I never will.
And incidentally JM, your ´our next 6 games are all winnable´ on the match day thread, is very heartening, but also ludicrously optimistic. It´s pretty much odds-on we´ll lose to Rotherham for a start, that WOULD be typical Norwich City after all, but it won´t change my overall opinion on this thread, and I don´t suppose it will change yours either.
