That's true JM and of course we won't need to bid for him, just wait to see if he turns up unannounced at Clayton Wood at around teatime next Friday!!
I understand Odemwingie was at Clayton Woods this afternoon. I am not sure about him but his pace is good even at an age of 32. He certainly lost his way at West Brom and thought he was bigger than the club. I hope he has sorted out his attitude if the sap for Kenwyne goes ahead.
Talking to my Dad about how we are letting players slip. And now we have realised what MH is doing. Making space on the wage list, and then he is gonna do a swoop in the last week. Hope we can get some players!
I'd love to know the full story behind the Odemwinge Car Park saga, as he tried to defend himself saying he'd made it known he'd like a transfer, and apparently there were bids for him that he was not told about, any he was being forced to play out his contract. Only reason it interested me, is I read this about Jones the other day; http://www.thesecretfootballer.com/...14959/text-what-text-kenwyne-jones-the-truth/ It seems clubs engineering these kind of stories is quite common if the "secret footballer" is to believed, and that bit about the goalkeeper sounded very familiar...
Let's hope that if they have swopped clubs, someone let's on to the training ground on Monday morning. Smithers I agree, pace is what we need, for me it's an OK swap deal. I've not seen any confirmation yet? But I did hear he may have had his medical on Friday at Clayton Wood. All I can say about Jones is. PLEASE PASS your medical!
Looks like this one has gone - but to be honest I didnt expect us to get him. Newcastle may be about to lose Yohan Cabaye but it looks as though they are set to make a signing as well, with Borussia Monchengladbach announcing that Luuk de Jong is not training today because he is on his way for a medical with the Premier League club.
A little more postive although I would think that the competition will be high. Stoke have already landed Peter Odemwingie today and now they're stepping up their efforts to bring in Blackpool's England Under-21 winger Thomas Ince.
Really hope Odem plays for you like he did for us. We need all the help we can get..... Not sure about Kenwyne, but if you want to swap anyone else, we've got a £7.5M Danish lad up for grabs as well. He's on £45k a week mind, but if you've got a decent tea lady, I'm sure we could come to an agreement.
Did you know that 'OldSparky' was the nickname for the electric chair in Sing Sing prison in the U S of A???
