The call on social media to make the game at the Cottage on Saturday a "Black and White Day" reminded me of times past when the fans got right behind the Club. This short film illustrates that admirably - Something else popped into my mind when watching it. Right at the begiining the team sheet for a game against Leeds showed the names of .. Conway, Earl and Barrett. Their pace and movement off the ball was electric. More importantly perhaps they worked so well as a unit. Our current trio of Aluko, Ayite and Sessegnon remind me very much of them. And that folks, coming from a carmudgeon whose catchphrase is "ain't like the old days", is praise indeed!
