I'm very comitted to buying a VOLT Electric Bike, from a dealership Representative here in Hull for £2,500.00. Has anyone had any experience with this brand.
Thinking of buying one of these . 40 miles on a charge 8mph or 16 mph settings Will be able to increase round trips from 4 miles to 20 miles
Thanks for your advice, I ended up getting talked into one of these: BMC Alpen challenge AC02 Nexus 8
Think so! is that a good or bad thing? Shifters: Shimano Alfine 8, Rapidfire Plus Chain set: Shimano Nexus, 38T Cassette: Shimano sprocket, 18T
I've not experienced them, but alfine's get really good reviews. Some people get put off as it's 'only' eight gears, but when you work out the ratios, a 21 speed can effectively be 'only' eight speeds too. Sounds to me like you've made a good choice.
I bought one of these 3 years ago for £650 - so this is a massive bargain. I'm no expert and I'm sure others will have a view on my choice, but it's been an excellent bike for me. https://www.tritoncycles.co.uk/urba...d-c30/weekender-canti-hybrid-bike-2014-p17424
And a silvered finish, a bullseye and a tall antenna with a furry tail flying from it. Presumably he already has an original fish-tailed Parka to keep his Harrington jacket dry on inclement days.
I'm old school so would have gone with traditional rear derailleur. I've heard mixed reviews with the Alfine rear hub. Mainly being a much heavier rear wheel and probably pricey if faulty. Be interesting to see how you get on with it.
