That looks absolutely ****. What is it with these twats who dream up this crap? The purple bit on the left looks like a 10 year old painted it. What's wrong with a proper font. If it's supposed to be hip, cool or trendy then it has failed miserably....................it's ****e.

I'm glad we're celebrating the Bantu people. Not sure letting Hull Prison build a plane is a good idea...
Didn't David Whitfield get a statue some years ago CC? Or mebbe a blue plaque? ..... I seem to recall a piece on Look North.
Went with the in-laws to see him at Apollo Club, 74/75 ish - he wasn't really my cup of tea but I could appreciate a good strong voice and his stage persona. Certainly one of Hulls finest.
It makes sense to have one of all of the members of the band considering only one of the four is left. Leaving out Bowie makes little sense even moreso now he has also passed on. Also, Whitfield has a statue, it's outside of New Theatre. That is exactly where a statue should be.
He was of his time and was the best of his era. Unfortunately rock and roll came along and all but obliterated that gentle/ family orientated genre. Are we going to see a blue plaque at Hessle Town Hall or St Peters Church Hall Anlaby for Coum Transmissions?
Can't see it, Quill. I know you are a big Bowie fan, but basically, Mick Ronson and the others were a backing band for Bowie. He,as he has done with others, used them and moved on. Bowie had no connection to Hull. It is a bit like putting a statue of Mick Jagger up in Cheltenham because Brian Jones played for the Stones. Sure you won't agree though.
