We hit the road to Hull, sad amps and smashed guitars, played badly at the Duke to almost no applause. Be Bop Deluxes take on an early gig at Hull in the 1970's, similarly our trips to Humberside are almost as bad although do recall a 4-2 win in about 1993. One of our last visits to the KC was a 3-0 defeat which cost Paul Simpson his job and the last visit was a 1-0 defeat.
Another in the non to easy fixtures to start life in the Championship against newly releagted City, however given the close proximity to the transfer window Hull's side could have a few players who will be making their last game for the Tigers.
A non too shabby side Hull have some class in their ranks, Davies, Huddlestone, Jelevic and Hernandez should prove more than a good test for our lads. Apperntly played really good football in beating Rochdale will be looking to prove a point after last weeks last minute defeat at the Valley. As with McCarthy last week, Steve Bruce tells it as he sees it which is always refreshing.
We have a few injury problems but after the win over Watford could be some interesting selection problems. We will do well to get a point here.

Didn't expect a positive result today, after all they have a bit of quality in the side, apparently first goal a shade lucky however poor defending for the second. Lack of goals could be a problem especially as Beckford is having knee surgery. Time for Uncle Trev to spend some cash.
