You do realise plum seriously did think it was a free hit.. And as I said, several posters seem to have missed your sarcasm. Written text is incredibly hard to interpret sarcasm.
We rejected a permanent indoor facility at Bishop Burton as it was considered to expensive, we rejected a bubble pitch next to the ground as Ehab's a ****.
I've got the minutes of the discussion we had with the club about it, it says they investigated Bishop Burton, but decided the Airco was the only option. What they also said, which wasn't minuted, was that the cost was too high Bishop Burton as they were insisting of any new building matching all the other brick buildings, rather than being the cheap basic clad unit the club wanted.
He desperately simpered. If youve got the minutes why dont you publish them. Though you do have a problem with that dont you. Would it not also be true we rent at BB but we wouldnt be able to build something there and it wouldnt be ours? I await the minutes with keen interest.
Err what. You'd find loads of them where I'm specifically saying that this subject is given way too much importance. I'm not a Jak hater, I'm just the odd one out for not being a Marshall hater.
Didn't bother because there wasn't much detail, but fill your boots... http://www.ambernectar.org/blog/2015/03/notes-from-the-latest-fans-working-group-meeting-3/
I'm normally a mild-mannered, laid back sort of person and it takes a lot to wind me up but what Ehab did with the Airco was a ****'s trick.
We also wouldnt have gotten it done in the timescale needed. Which was the major sticking point or it was another two years to wait. Its clear how quickly Cat 2 status has improved our youth players.
We had the option of a bubble pitch, the only reason we didn't go with it was Ehab thinking it was cheaper and easier to close the Airco... Originally pencilled in for April 23, City have now been given until September to provide a covered 3G surface for their youngsters to play on. It would mean constructing a new facility, behind the Airco Arena, to house a 3G pitch, covered by a waterproof, plastic membrane roof. Although this so-called "bubble pitch" facility will cost around £850,000, it is believed the Premier League would be willing to still grant the Tigers a Category Two score for their academy, if the project is signed off and a deposit is paid to contractors. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/bubb...6314734-detail/story.html#lidBQiSomc0iiqPH.99
That's not at bb is it. It is believed, would be, if if if. It needed doing quickly and the council would have dragged their heels about a bubble pitch behind the airco. Playing politics. Again, the benefits are there for all to see. Already. We're ahead of schedule. Hopefully in a few years we'll build our own somewhere.
The council wouldn't have dragged their heels on the bubble pitch They were working hard to fast track it as it was the easiest way out of the legal argument about the Airco evictions They couldn't legally give Ehab the guarantee of planning permission, but they certainly wouldn't have dragged their heels
You dont think Geraghty wouldnt have created a **** storm? Do you not know politics in Hull for the last xxxx years?
No you're right. On this occassion and his whole time at the club Ehab has only ever acted in the very best interests of the club. He has never been at fault or even said anything controversial. Have you finished the statue of Ehab yet, I can't wait to see it. Praise be to Ehab, praise be to the saviour.
Silly post. I read a good article by Peter Hitchens today talking about Trump. He may be an odious man, but you dont have to believe everything and just be fed **** and lap it up.
Couple of things here, 1. My original post was intended to question your statement, ie a team we should expect to be able to take points against, when they're 9 places above us and scoring freely. 2. This is what I said, might not be a totally free hit but it's not far off. In other words it's not a free hit.
