Hope My Predictability Is As Unpredictable As Ever, But...

Of these upcoming five, I think we´ll win two
Despite going fairly good guns,
Sliding on banana skins is nothing new
And the next two are classical ones

We don´t beat enough of the lowlier teams
Whichever division we´re in,
Which does put a dampener on most of our dreams
As progress slides into a spin

It´s been our Achilles heel for years and years
Regardless of who holds the reins,
Those at the bottom need have no real fears
Of us causing them further pains

And having the ´favourite´ label doesn´t suit
Like the Manager of the Month award,
It comes with a curse, which turns the fans mute
After the underdogs have scored

We were sort of joint favourites at Brighton-on-Sea
Which was enough to see us get downed,
But hand us the underdog role and you´ll see
Quite often, a complete turnaround

I foresee wins against Forest at home
And against Burton away,
Despite being likely favourites in our Dome
I can´t see us failing that day

But naturally there are no rules anywhere
Without an exception or two,
So predicting is still an unpredictable sphere
And this is thankfully, just my view. OTBC

 

Well put sir, how often have our expectations been dashed by a no-show team and equally victories at Man Ure, Man Citeh etc. confounded us all?

 

There, told you - that´s why you can´t make betting into a profession. Still, very nice with 3 more points, keep this up, and we may even start to become reliable

Still a point away ( against anyone) is always a good point, but it might have been better, if only we could defend set-pieces.
