Not flippin a trilby.
Lord Rowell at Sid James Park......great day to be a Sunderland fan that was.
Yes. I was just looking for it
The king of hat tricks.
Don never played in 1992 cup final
He was cup tied
Loved Don me like - 100% effort. Great athlete, and a bit mad too
Gabiadini got a hat trick against Ipswich, then chinned someone and got sent off
Good random fact.
. Excellent stuff.
I remember the cup run
In particular the semi final at hillsbourgh
Didn't John Byrne score in every round, bar the final?
He scored a nice header from a cross by rush
In the semi final
I think it was the Ipswich fullback Franz Thyssen who had been niggling Gabbi all match. As the goal went in he was behind Gabbi who did a beautiful back handed thump.
This is the best Hat trick ive ever seen.
Me & @MaradonerKebab watched the 'road to wembley' just the other night...
Some great evenings along the way!!
I came back over to the UK from Den Helder for the semi final... amazing day!!
Dunno... Ben & Jerrys take some beating !!
Watching Southampton just take the lead against Liverpool, reminds me of one of my favourite hatricks, we won 4-1 I think down there one year with Cloughie scoring three, it was particularly memorable, as that day we were on a bus trip to Blackpool and what a day that was, book material.
I know my mind is going a bit now but i reckon my favorite hatrick was john hawley's away at Man City.
Ronny on this day in 2008 putting 3 past the Toon in a 6-0 rout.
Yup, and he had a good chance there but fluffed it,
When the subject of Hat-Tricks is raised I shudder because my thoughts go back to a Game against Cardiff in the mid 60's.
The score ended up 3 - 3 but what was memorable was Ivor Allchurch scoring a hat-trick for Cardiff.
Every one of his goals was from outside the box and left a young Jimmy Monty a very confused keeper.
any hatrick against the scum is great, noticed you had a couple of sunderland players in that team
A more recent infamous hat trick for me would be the 3 own goals against Charlton about 15 years or so ago!!
