That's what guys like you and Chief say every season when you spend a fortune in transfers and we spend nothing . 7 seasons of " You never make it another season " . And for 7 seasons , the joke is on you and your billions

I've got a season ticket at Swansea you daft ****er, I've got absolutely no desire for them to go down at all.

However, Sigurdsson isn't on the same planet as Pogba. He's currently the best player in a side punching way above its weight. For that he should be admired but the truth is he's at his level, as was shown by his failure at Spurs.

 

Sigurdsson didn't fail at Spurs. He wasn't quite as good as Eriksen, so he couldn't hold down a starting place.
Still did a good job for us whenever he was needed, though.
He left because he wanted to be starting every week.

Pogba had on ok game last night. Wasn't great by any means. He was playing against the European champions though.

Gylfi will never get that chance because he's not on that level. Simple as that.

As PNP states above, he couldn't break into Spurs's first team back when they weren't even that good. Ok, not necessarily failure but nor is it a sign of greatness.

 

I agree with that. The issue is, Pogba has shown, so far at least, that he's nowhere near that level either.
