Leeds United manager Simon Grayson says the club have not received any written offers for skilful winger Max Gradel.

The ex-Leicester City man has impressed at Elland Road after initially joining on loan and was named their Player of the Year last season.

However his sparkling displays have not gone unnoticed elsewhere with the likes of Fulham and West Ham reportedly tracking Gradel.

Grayson has already lost regulars Neil Kilkenny and Bradley Johnson while Kasper Schmeichel has been sold and he is not looking to add Gradel to that list.

However, he admits that if someone comes in with 'mega money' for the club's players then they would have to seriously consider offers.

    Speculation
"Max was back with everyone else on Thursday and he was full of the joys of spring," Grayson told the club's official website.

"He's fantastic to work with and got stuck right in just as you would expect.

"Unfortunately you can't stop speculation. It shows the calibre of players we have, but there's been no written offers for Max.

"As I always say, any deal outgoing would have to be to the benefit of the club, that's why Kasper went to Leicester.

"If someone offers mega money for a player you always have to weigh up if it's for the best, but we don't have to sell.

"There's so much speculation, too many people get carried away with it. It's easy to put a headline in a newspaper.

"With any deals we do, either in or out, we will do them as quietly as possible."

Offer him a new contract! He's already said that he'd want to resign!

This is what I don't get! I know there are certain structures and procedures in place, but if a player's eager to re-sign, then tie him up for 3/4 years. Gradel, Snods, Becchio (won't always be a star for us but think he will be important over the next few years), Howson... just do whatever it takes to keep them!!
