guys, so we screwed it up again, we've ended up with a heavily reduced squad and the jacks have now gone into the premier league. Yet, despite what some american cleric foretold, the world hasn't quite ended yet. 10 years ago, if someone had told you that we'd have been to the Millennium stadium (and won) and Wembley 3 times, the likes of Robbie Fowler, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Craig Bellamy had pulled on the sacred shirt, we were averaging around 23,000 a game in a top notch brand new stadium with a scoreboard, we're owned by billionaires and we're actually attracting interest from top managers like Martin O'Neal and Di Matteo.......you'd have laughed in their face!! I certainly would have. yet, here we are. Its good to be a bluebird. Keep the faith brothers. Our time will come.
Can I have a full glass please Seriously we have been spoilt, before the Reading 2nd leg game I spoke to some Bluebirds, and they were as twitchy as me................going into important games as favourites doesn't sit well with Bluebirds, going into a game where a win or a draw is a result to older Bluebirds is the norm when you expect to win..............well you can be easily disappointed if you go in with fairly low expectations anything else is a bonus............mind you I always think we will win l
Proph, I'm a project manager by trade and the old adage is 'set expectations so low that can only be exceeded'! I'm expecting a carp season! Well, a trouty one for a start anyway!
