I was at the gate tonight watching the game in the mezzanine above the grill bar, I spoke to someone (won't say who) and he told me quite clearly SL is in Africa and there definitely won't be change of manager in the foreseeable future! God I hope he is wrong!!
There is only one logical explanation for that; SL put a huge bet on is getting relegated when we were 6th in the table, and he wants to collect. There isn't any other rational explanation.
Just reading about Leicester tonight. They got Ranieri out and many questioned it. They have since won 6 from 6 and tonight sit 10th. What would we give to win 6 from 6 ourselves right now
This has to be the final straw. Getting a new guy in mow will let us know how much of out current plight is down to LJ and now much is the players - I hold them equally responsible for this sh1te season
As much as I want to see him go I think the players need to take a look at themselves. Paid decent money and turning in a fcuking shift like that. How can they go from a team who destroyed Huddersfield to a team that couldn't beat Bath city. It seems obvious they don't want to play for LJ, but in that respect they are putting the fingers up to the fans too. Wenarks the most of em, coaches through to players. As quoted by someone else, if he loved the club as much as he says he does he'd do the right thing and fk off.
That is just how I feel mate, Ive had enough and couldn't really care less, I'm f****** off to Cornwall..
Very small potential ray of sunshine (though I still think it's highly improbable). Tammy Abraham won't be at Chelsea next season. Straight from the horses mouth. Though I'd imagine that means he's off to a lower Prem team in all honesty.
I thought the whole point of delegating a lot of the managerial tasks to MA was that LJ concentrated on coaching the first team. As such it should be relatively easy to replace him for another coach. Thought he was off to Turkey?
I think it's gone past the point of no return. Its too late to sack LJ (this season). A month left so unless someone is immediately snapped up to replace him we would be stuck with Mcallister (even more inexperienced than LJ) and/or Holvden (God help us). Would they do better? I don't think so. We have to back the team til the end of the season and then talk about giving Johnson the boot then. If we go down he MUST go.
To be honest we're down as it is with him. I can't see us beating Blackburn and we're screwed. So I'd take McAllister or Holden until the end of the season purely on the premise that we essentially have nothing to lose relatively speaking.
Yep. Everytime I see his pathetic post match interviews I want to bitch slap the little bugger. He was like a naughty schoolboy last night. I hate to criticize someone's physical stature but he's looking up at the reporter for every question. It's like a slap stick comedy....but this isn't funny. I just cannot see that any of the players can respect someone who has no aura of leadership or authority about him.
