http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...n-signing-Barcelona-star-Gerard-Deulofeu.html If this has any truth behind it then it spells the end for Mirallas IMO and would be a great bit of business
I think there is some truth in it, but not at £3m, more like 8m euro with a buy back clause. If we could offload Mirallas and bring in Deulofeu and Podolski with the cash then happy days.
I was also going to mention the Podolski link, not sure if he would prefer a move back to Germany and I am sure he will not be short of offers. But dont think he managed many goals for Inter last season, so maybe we should stay clear of him?
@barcastuff: Everton will pay 6M for Gerard Deulofeu (21), who will sign a 3+1 year deal. Buy-back options of 9M in 2016 and 12M in 2017. Stole this from JA606
I think he's class, but he needs to play. He's not an impact player and he's not a wideman either, he's a forward who's a terrific finisher, but can operate from a wide position. He's very similar to Mirallas in many ways. Will we get him? Doubtful, as he'll attract a decent fee, despite only having a year left on his Arsenal deal.
Similar stuff coming out from a few of the Everton ITK's now as well mate, only with a 4 year deal mentioned. The buyback options would require him to accept the return, which given his treatment to press would be unlikely unless he was guaranteed first team action.
metro is a reliable source http://metro.co.uk/2015/06/15/everton-complete-gerard-deulofeu-transfer-from-barcelona-5246635/ I wonder how many of the Martinez out gang are happy that he has managed to get Gerard back on a permanent deal?
If he completes it, it'll be a cracking piece of business for the club. However, I don't think those of us who have been critical of Martinez, have questioned his eye for an attacking player, it's his ability to recruit and organise a backine that is more of the concern. The new that Howard retains the GK slot for next season fills me with dread for a start off....
Yup can only be good if he is bought at the quoted price As Tobes says it's the defending bit that's the main concern with Martinez
Done deal signed for £4.3m Hilarious price, how we've pulled that off I'll never know Welcome back Gerard lad
Remember that fat **** Samuel writing this tripe? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...Lukaku-Barry-Deulofeu-Wengers-right-moan.html Someone ought to tweet him with it
Love the lad, great talent and the price is ridiculous considering the money the RS are splashing out on inferior players .
Can you honestly and truly say you've seen enough of Firmino to be able to make a statement like that ?
