I find this incredible! Rom has taken over a club that was struggling to find it's identity and direction while his former club have the best structure/youth development process that allows for a constant stream of talent to come through. Yet here we are, sat level on points with Southampton who have managed to shift a man on who helped them to their best finish for years......
When you put it like that, this little saga doesn't reflect well on anybody. Perhaps it would be best to wait until May before drawing any conclusions about who has been mugged off and who has done the mugging.
Hold on. Some saints fans are happy to gloat. But Koeman has entered a club in a real mess....the new guy at Southampton a well ran club with defined structure. Both should be looking at least equalling last years form +/- 10% to allow for #transitionalliverpool season.
I would like to thank Southampton for letting us have the reject Koeman. We had a terrible record against Arsenal
He was very restrictive on youth players last night.....only trusting Calvert-Lewin for 11 minutes while we tried to force a winner (i was very imressed with him)
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38340849 That five year deal will ensure he doesn't get a run in the first team.....
Eleven minutes. Is that what you are crowing about? Barry & Baines just signed new youth restricting contracts and you are happy! Funny Everton. giveyouthachance
You forgot to mention Holgate but that wouldn't suit your post would it... Barry very good guy to have around and advise the kids.. I should think he'll be more of a squad player next season Baines isn't exactly ancient at 32 either what should we do let him go just to keep Southampton fans happy?
