"Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is on the verge of signing for Tianjin Quanjian for €80M and he will earn €30M-a-year." Not another world class player choosing to end his career really early!?
Such lovely news to hear! More young footballers need to have a head on them like this lad. Learn, grow, get first team starts every week. Pay a bit back to the club that took you on and gave you a chance. Put faith in you. A big move will still be on offer to him next year, and the years after that.
Defoe returns to Bournemouth. What a signing! A lot of money involved in getting him in, but I think he's well worth the risk. Everton close to a £25m deal for Keane, they are really pushing on with these signings. Sunderland have permission to talk to Grayson from PNE. Will that have any effect on Rudd move?
Great news, they really must believe in him and vice versa he must be sold on the new coaching setup and his prospects of playing. Bah!
My hero and watch out for Glenn Middleton in a year or so!!!! You heard it here first. Edit - From the article on the Canaries website. JM - “I know we’ve got a lot of talent in the squad – especially in the position I like to play. So it’s about me getting my fitness up and showing what I can do and what I can bring to this squad, especially with the new manager. I’ve never worked under a foreign manager before and I’ve really taken to it well, and am really enjoying it. It’s been double sessions and long days, but we’ve had the balls out early doors and I’m thoroughly enjoying it.” Head Coach Daniel Farke said: “It’s a great decision. It’s good for him and good for the Club. He’s a nice guy who has a lot of potential – he can spot key passes on the pitch and is creative and a technically good player. He has so much potential and I’m really looking forward to working with him and we will try to develop him a little bit more. “There will be a lot of competition to get into the starting XI, but his great potential means it’s up to him to use this opportunity.” I've seen him spot the 'key passes' to which DF refers, but AN couldn't/wouldn't!!!
A 'killer statement' from today's offering on MFW - "And for our new Head Coach, there’s no better place than to start by ‘coaching heads’!!" Read all about it - http://norwichcity.myfootballwriter...l-you-also-have-to-know-john-”-a-key-message/
A good read and he's absolutely right but I'm still positively optimistic, mind you that probably says more about me than anything else, I'll not condemn anything until I've given it enough time to condemn itself!
So far Dave, I haven't seen/heard any 'negative' comments on the appointment of DF and his support team. I guess they're 'keeping their powder dry' until we lose 3 or 4 games on the bounce. I'm quietly confident that they won't be getting a chance t use their 'powder'!!!
