Don't know what im going to do to be honest, the wife doesn't earn enough for me to retire so will have to find another job somewhere.
Not fussed what i do so long as it pays the bills and leaves me a few quid for my golf at the weekend.
Cant move up north as the wife doesn't want to go and to be honest i have been down here now that long i am quite settled here now.
Just have to see what the future brings to me, i did quite fancy a job of a bus driver but listening to all of the hate comments on an earlier post i thought i might change direction

 

My Mrs just run a bath and used a full imperial leather bubble bath. 500ml

She said 'I know most people only use half but I like mine really bubbly'

 

just as well she didn't have a litre bottle.

 

Tel's house, earlier today.

 

You can use a full bottle but you can never fully wash the Tel off.

 

Who's doing what on this bank holiday weekend then? 4 (3 holidays) days from the lovely Maj (I assume) for Easter, so lots of time to do things.

I've planned nowt. Got to paint the conservatory.

Might have a takeaway tonight.

Unfortunately it's in Birmingham so I'll be setting off sometime tonight!

 

I'm working on putting in a new patio so got more digging up of the garden to do and several journeys to the tip to get rid of all the turf. It's amazing how many bags you fill from digging about six inches worth of soil up in an area only a few metres square. That's not how big the patio's going to be btw just what I've done so far.

Other than that not much planned, got in laws over on Sunday so definitely be having a few drinks, they're good fun.

 

Same old **** for me.
Although there is a beer festival on down the bar all weekend.
Might find some time to escape on Saturday.

 

Anyone else see the story about prominent black man Ross Barkley being racially offended, or someone being offended on his behalf, because a journo said he was thick and reminded him of a gorilla he saw at the zoo. Fair enough, it's a bit of a touchy area comparing black people to monkeys even if there's no racist intent. One problem though, this is Ross Barkley:



What the **** is going on out there in this ****ing stupid world we live in.

 

Apparently the guy who wrote the article taking the piss out of Barkley for looking like a gorilla (and having the footballing intelligence of one) has been suspended while he's being investigated for a racial hate crime because one of Barkley's grandparents was born in Africa so therefore the very white Barkley is of course black as ****. Bizarre to say the least.

 

Probably worth looking at what else he wrote mate before jumping to conclusions.

He made reference to the only rich men in Liverpool being drug dealers, he's also the man who was Editor of The Sun during the Hillsborough Disaster, ****ing great timing ey!

The bloke deserves shot in the face, not suspended.

I'm not jumping to conclusions, if what I've read is accurate then he's being investigated for a racial hate crime for comparing Barkley to a gorilla, that's the part that I've got an issue with regardless of how much of a knob the bloke might be and if he deserves suspending for his other comments.

 

Ah ok mate, thought you were saying it's bizarre that he's been suspended.

Well obviously Barkley isn't black, but an editor of a newspaper should really know better than to compare anybody to an ape, it's inevitable that somebody will take offence.

 

I would like to think that you can compare a white person to a monkey without being accused of racism but I agree he deserved suspending.

 

Well nobody has any consideration for the monkeys. Imagine how they feel being compared to a scouser.
