TP talking about the transfer window and potential baggies business: (BBC website) "We're sat on the top table but we feed off the crumbs. You have to understand that. You have to wait for those crumbs to drop off the table and that hopefully you're in the right place at the right time to pick them up. And that doesn't happen at the start of a meal. That usually happens at the end of the meal." What 'last minute' deals will he be doing this time around I wonder? He'll never change!
They can't be that hard up if they can afford to reject a 25 million bid for their striker! We wouldn't be able to reject that type of offer!
OR spend (some) £15 million on Rondon (sp)...who he. Whatever, he WILL keep the baggies up. Without him, would we still be here ??
apart from the top 6 teams the rest of us are on a level field now that almost every team gets £100 million a season off tv rights alone so this crumbs rubbish doesnt wash with me nor will it with the West Brom fans I expect. Thanks for what you did for us TP but my God im glad he went when he did.
Totally agree Smithers, seems to me hes making his excuses if they have a poor transfer window in advance
I meant that for me he's not really improved a team that was already a mid table team. He's just made them harder to beat in his typical fashion.
