Seen some trippy films lately. Eraserhead, God bless america, Swiss Army Man, the interview and the lobster to name a few. all pretty decent.

I want to watch Eraserhead and Swiss Army Man, the former because I'm a fan of David Lynch and I haven't seen it before and the latter because for some reason people using a dead body as a prop and pretending it's still alive really tickles me.

Both worth a watch, both complete madness in their own way. It's kind of the theme in my film choice at the moment. Looking for strange darkly funny films.

I don't think so, we've got them on DVD and they had the black borders, maybe they'll do special editions of the old episodes when the new series comes out.

Yeah it was Lynch's first feature length film back in the early 70s.

Hopefully they'll re release it as I've seen it mentioned a lot lately. Think it could be getting a resurgence.

Do you know, Henry's haircut in Eraserhead inspired me for my new hair cut <laugh>

Nice one, if you get bored of it you'll just have to shave it round the sides and you'll have one of these bad boys:

Watched Arrival the other day, was a decent watch, bit boring in parts but quite a clever film.

Your'e in for a treat, but the book about him from the '60s was more accurate and a cracker. Nonetheless, the bloke did what he did.

Word of warning: stay away from LaLa Land. For all the critics love it, it is totally bum-numbing.

I liked the music. The dancing ain't no Fred Astaire level, and as long as you can get past that standard of awesome dancing, it's a nice easy going film.

My lass made me watch The Girl On The Train....was dreading it, half watched the start - half reading my MCN.

15 mins in MCN was down and watched it all the way through.

Great movie, good acting, great twist at the end...plus some grade A+ totty and a cringeworthy death scene at the end.
