    OK I will address that,

    You spent more than most Premier League clubs
    You were relegated

    Is this true ? if not explain to me my warped view of these events

    Try to put your massive bias to one side for the duration of your reply

    In one year, yes we did. Spread over several years (the normal time to build a PL squad) we were one of the smallest spending. This is the reason that the club felt the need to spend so much in one go - and it was wasted spending due to an inept manager. Plus we only spent money we had already brought in - one of the very few Premier League clubs to do that. After we were relegated we spent less than we brought in so were actually net sellers and not spenders. Is there anything in that that you disagree with?
