Think it's deserving of his own thread as it's seemingly more likely by the day that someone will actually sign him.

It's a conundrum. A massive supporting friend of mine asked me for an opinion, and I refused to give one as I was worried I'd sound like a bitter fan, feeling scorned by Fox's decision to move on and not being able to give an honest answer. The only real positive I can find is the amount of games played at his age.

So it's Sheff Weds in the lead, but Derby threatening to hijack. Two of the better sides in the Championship.

    Why?

He wasn't bad when Bulot was in front of him. Tries hard and his head doesn't drop. With good protection he isn't bad back up, I suppose. Whether or not these teams want to pay 1m-1.5m on LB cover is another question.

I genuinely have very little positive things to say- he works hard and he clearly cares and that's no bad thing.
But footballer wise he is generally awful.

I genuinely question whether being exposed to upper end Championship football at a big club would be good for Fox.

A man has got to know his own limitations.

It can only be as a back up as Don says. Wednesday are obviously plush and Derby aren't afraid to spend - but even as back up, those two teams are chasing promotion and he'd be a lamb to slaughter in the Premier League. Solly with his shot knees would be better suited as a LB in the Premier league.

If Derby or Wed come in with a bid, Fox would be mad not to take it. Jeered off by Charlton fans in recent games, and now gets the chance to double/treble his salary and the security of a big contract.

Apparently Sheffield Wed have agreed a fee with Charlton but Fox has not spoken to them yet. Derby are also looking interested but have not agreed a price with Charlton.

I don't imagine KM will be too keen to negotiate with Derby.

Yeah. Especially after getting to know the network. What happened with that - anyone know? Thought 2 more episodes were due.

I didn't mind Fox when he came into the team, started off bright and played pretty well. Like Watt, I genuinely feel sorry for them, as they've fallen victim to the way how Douchebag runs his clubs. He's had crap manager after another crap manager, not someone like Powell who started to mentor him, offer advice and all.

It's no wonder his confidence and ability is shot to ****. It'll do him the world of good to move onto another pasture where there is more stability.

Whoever scouted him must have seen something. He has had some decent games, that must have been when the scouts were there. If they were there when he was up against a winger who exposed his slowness on the turn he surely wouldn't have recommended him. His attitude has always been faultless, unlike some he has played alongside. Slade commented on his attitude, when comparing him (wrongly) to THD.

Surely they mean £1.7m ? That's what Slade said we turned down in the summer!

Our CEO is a crafty one. She knew he wasn't worth that much so waited until a more realistic offer came in.<diva>

The Sun is reporting that the Fox deal is done.

Expect an update from the O/S in 2018.

Does @DickPlumb know anything about the MKDons reserve full backs?

Charlton have signed 20 year old left back Lewis Page - 22 loan appearances for Coventry on loan from WH.

    Assume Fox has bolted.
