Right lads ,before the season starts . Here we go , list all the bad calls ,from these so called neutral expert referees in here . Lets see out of interest , if they even themselves out . the ones for and the ones against .. what you recon ..just for a laugh or so
Stickied for now. Will be interesting as I never have believed in the "swings and roundaabouts" arguement.
I think in football luck evens itself out, given enough time. Any particular season you can have more bad refereeing calls than good, though, but you get some crackerjacks that seem to think there is a big conspiracy against Newcastle United every year. Their own bias is laughable. This thread is a good idea though. It's about time someone applied a scientific approach like this.
It will be interesting to compare what our fans make of some of the big calls compared to fans of other teams.
In the true spirit of the thread, you should set out a list of rules so that we can ignore them and misinterpret them.
I thought we should have had a penalty in the 20th min against Tottenham next week. A handball if ever I've seen one.
Well l think the decision to have a referee for our game against Spurs is a travesty. It's so unfair and biased. Why do we have to have a referee or assistant referees? How can we be expected to get the best out of Mitro, if the referee is going to card him every time he does a little something wrong, like head butting Harry Kane or taking a great big chunk out of Dele Ali? It's so not fair, we never get the run of the green these days. is it cos we are Northern?
well no major incidents i suppose .. sky pundits seem happy .shelvey got his deserved red . i will state one thing though .... when your opponent is getting the better of you and you are getting frustrated . just scissor tackle him and hopefully injure him ..problem solved ( yellow card ) one for the team
For me Marriner was generally poor (both teams affected) but missed big decision to send off Kane but only gave a yellow.
Would of been very interesting. If it was the other way round m8. For one it would never be off the TVs. I bet
