    Aye, under David O'Leary I think.

    Whatever happened to him? He left Leeds and he's never managed another club as far as I know.


    Edit: Just checked. He managed Aston Villa and Al-Ahli where he was sacked after getting gubbed 5-1 by Al Jazira. That's a bit like Man Utd getting hammered by Sky News.

    You're right - In that case Everton obviously don't count as they never even got to the group stage. Spurs made the qurter finals in the one year they were in it.

    Oh right, is it never got out the group stages EVER?

    I misread the question, then.

    The two games against Rangers counted as full tournament and not qualifiers - it was the tournament's first year - so those two games counted as full CL games, I thought.

    Therefore, Leeds 93 qualified but didn't get out of the group stage (technically) <diva>

    But, if we're talking EVER, then, yes, the semi final team definitely ****s that answer <laugh>
