A couple of seasons back, none other than Steve Claridge said [an opinion I respect a lot] that it was appalling of Portsmouth that they entirely wasted their accrued money from the PL, spending not a single significant penny on Fratton Park to improve things. He knew it had been frittered away and/or gone into certain individuals pockets.
And I'm sure the Away supporters are very thankful, but if Steve says it then there ought to be a grain of truth in there somewhere, don't you think.?
