No it's not out yet but is this week. In the run up who do you fancy as first game. Main thing for me is a home game but if a choice some team like Watford to get us off to a good start hopefully.
I don't care. If you are going to win the league, you are gonna have to beat the top teams along the way anyway.
perfect start would be Burnley H, Brighton A, Swansea H, Watford A, Stoke H, Palace A - All games we should look at trying to win! Top after 6 games What we will get Chelsea A, Arsenal A, Spurs A, Man city A, Liverpool A, Man U A, Everton A
I don't care what anyone says, confidence and winning games early is the key, Leicester optimised this in their PL winning year, having the pressure to win at the top is a lot better than being at the bottom. Winning say 5-8 out of your first 10 puts us well on the way to safety, get to that magic 40 pt mark and take it from there!
Not bad at all. Spurs won't be happy, we are a bit of a bogey team (cue Sissoko hat trick). After that it's a good run of fixtures we have a chance in before ending at home to a team whose destiny has a good chance of already being decided.
This is a great set of fixtures and in reply to any idiots who turn around and say we have to play everyone at home and everyone away, I say that as it stands, we won't face any of last season's top 6 back to back, could possibly change with cup games CL and TV. There are pouches of games that we can win in a row and its all about gaining momentum, building confidence and playing without fear
With Spurs A being mid March and the League Cup Final being Feb 25th, Newcastle will be looking at playing at Wembley twice within a two week period. It's like buses!
First six games are normally quite critical and you've got to be pretty happy with what we've got - the rest look nicely spread too. Only one I'm a bit miffed about is Wet Spam on 23rd Dec - I'll be travelling up for Xmas and was supposed to have my companies Corporate tickets for that game - might have to re-think travel plans now
