Looked shocking last night. Should have collected the ball or put it out for SW first goal. Looks suspect when ball is passed back to him and that punch on the deck in the second half when it was easier to catch it. I think Fielding will be back in Saturday.

 

Thought he might have done better for the first goal. Seemed allright otherwise but put down the back pass as a benefit of the doubt for now.

 

No he won't. It's one game.

 

I think we have to give him longer to settle.
Different players take different times to adjust, especially from another country.

 

Of course, same applies to Hegler and Duric too.. We haven't seen anywhere near the best of them.

 

Not sure that Giefer has played much football over last couple of seasons. It may just be a settling in thing, as we cannot afford any more players who regularly make costly errors. Looks to me like he has been put in too early when he perhaps needed a spell as no.2.

 

I was more concerned about the shocking defending (yet again!) for their first goal.

Give Giefer a little time...
