Surprise, surprise - so is the Man Utd/Chelsea match. There's a comment in this month's WSC that addresses the BBC showing 406 consecutive man Utd matches and points out there's no reason they should: while Sky and BT are driven by commercial demands, meaning that to keep their advertisers happy they need to draw as many viewers as possible, for the BBC to keep banging on about how the cup raises the profiles of lower division clubs it makes no sense whatsoever that these clubs don't have their profiles raised unless they happen to draw Man Utd.
Looks like "retaliation" for this: please log in to view this image This is going to go really, really well, isn't it?
Apparently we've offered them 2,800 tickets, but they're upset and it's hurt their feelings. Their chief executive has said that it's unsafe, as their fans will try to buy tickets in the home sections.
But when they try to go thru the turnstiles, their knuckles will drag along the ground and reveal themselves.
Fat chance of that. This won't even go on general sale, I've already had about 6 of my mates ask if I'll be able to get them spares like I sometimes can, told them blankly they'll have no chance. Every ST/ Member I know is hell-bent on going to this. Last time we played Millwall competitively I was the grand old age of 5 months, so this'll be my first time experiencing this London derby, to say I'm buzzing would be an understatement. If anything you'll probably find Spurs fans trying to buy memberships at Millwall just to try getting a ticket in the away end
Yes, I remember that cup tie v Millwall.Chopper Harry Cripps and all.we won 2-0 but it wasn't easy! I believe Cripps learned his trade at West Ham!!!!!!? I pitied all right wingers that played Millwall......
