Karl Robinson is going to make eight changes to side that played on Saturday. Set to be number of young kids that get a chance. This is from Richard Cawley. Freddie Ulvestad and. Crofts will not travel, Magennis is also being rested. I presume that Aribo, Charles- Cook, Hanlan and Umerah will play. https://www.londonnewsonline.co.uk/...ght-changes-made-milton-keynes-fa-cup-replay/
A common sense decision, given the paucity of our squad. Pearce has joined the injury list, and Bauer is suspended. Brighton away is not going to fill the coffers, so tomorrow night is not that important IMO.
Yeh this is one game where I'm not overly bothered if we lose, so I'd start Fox for the final time, then put him down
I wouldn't lose any sleep over the result. Perhaps a good time to throw the kids in. Previously they've learnt attractive attacking football through to the first team, where we've then had a manager who plays more cautiously. Under KR, we've hopefully changed on that front, and they could be the ones who really benefit.
What do @DickPlumb and @AllHellLetLoose and @ForestHillBilly think of Hanlon? Personally I don't think he is ready/good enough yet for us. Will he get a start tonight?
He was a good honest U18 player ....but so was The Pig ..... he needs a season long loan in L2 or Conf. to prove he can score goals against men
I thought he was a good prospect with the U-18's, a real workhorse. The little I've seen of him this season he's looked nervous and unsure of himself. Maybe Slade's poor management. Let's see what he's like under Robinson.
Not particularly bothered about the result of the game. Given that we have Peterborough and Millwall in less than seven days apart, I'm pretty sure Robinson surely does not want start his, hopefully, long illustrious Charlton career with a devastating defeat at The Den, given our recent run-ins. Given that we're resting so many of our first teamers, this must highlight the paper thin squad that we have.
I'm hoping the youngsters do well tonight. Not too well though or Roland will tell Robinson we don't need anyone else in January.
A loss on Wednesday could see a bit of "TOLD YOU F****G SO" to Roland. But he's probably looking to offload the club given: Article 50 will be invoked soon enough making it a little harder for him to do business here Cannot appoint a network manager to the club without criticism from UK media and football fans in general Bring in substandard players from his "elite" network of European scouts (which I use that term 'elite' incredibly loosely) That his piss poor excuse for an experiment has failed worse than when Kublai Khan said, "tell you guys, I'm an expert sailor, follow me." I don't expect to see any decent players come in. He's going to sell Lookman, pocket the money and tell Robinson "you've got a top six budget already and you do not need any reinforcements."
