With no flashy graphics or remotely interesting statistics, can this thread possibly be good enough to stand as the official match day one?

I'm not feeling confident and all I can say is "less is more"

In answer to the first question, yes. Much better than Chippy's feeble brained efforts.

In answer to the second question, don't worry as it's much better than Chippy's feeble brained efforts.

Given both teams won their respective matches 4-0 there should be confidence from the forward lines.

Hmm, yes, but Oxford have to play Bradford on Tuesday night in the EFL Cup!

Should be nice and draining on the Oxford players! :emoticon-0130-devil

With Shelvey knitting our play together, and threading quality through balls, I'm hopeful we'll avoid the need for replay.

This thread has turned into a proper stitch up. You should all quilt with the blanket replies and crochet another thread to unpick and needle someone else ...darn it!!! Needles to say we will have it all sewn up and knit have to have a replay

    Well, quite!

Oxford United are going pretty well just now and, despite their protracted negotiations about the ownership of their ground, could cause us a good few problems.

Hope we go strong for this tie, we certainly could do without a replay with the onslaught of League fixtures we have coming up, but I'd love a good FA Cup run <badger>

Yep - dont agree with those who are saying its a distraction we could do without. We are in the competition - we should see how far we can get. Nothing more exciting than a one off cup game particularly against supposedly better opposition.
