He's performed really poorly for Wales for ages but is really shining in this tournament which is great to see. Tbf sometimes he gets carried away with the free role (ala Rooney) and gets dragged out of position leaving us open and exposed with no outlet in Attacking Midfield - like against England. But he's showing good running, lots of heart and a good tackle/commitment and some incisive passing and even a goal threat - all good things I hope he can continue for Arsenal.
Got to rate Ramsey, he is playing with bags of passion and commitment for Wales and has really arisen to the occasion. He's been one of the star men of the tournament for sure. I'm looking forward to seeing him in an Arsenal shirt next season.
This tournament has been dog ****. International football is just dog ****. Too many players are just too tired to really play at their best. If I was a betting man, I would be betting on a lot of draws in the remaining games.
Yeah - The thing that bugs me about International football is it attracts all the non-football fans and this is their only exposure to the sport. The Champions League is VASTLY superior in terms of the quality of the football on show.
Great result for Wales. Gonna be tough for them in the next round without Ramsey though. Such a key player for them.
I am ****ing bouncing! What a result, what a performance! It is incredible - ****ing Wales, 4 years ago we were ranked around the same as Andorra or some ****, now we are in the Semi-Finals and have a really good chance of getting to the Final!
Tonight I'm going to be able to watch my country play in the semi finals of a major tournament.I can't ****ing believe it
C'mon Wa................ no, I'm English, i cannot bring myself to say it. A begrudging "good luck" is all I can muster.........
Mae'n anhygoel! It's incredible isn't it? I just can't believe it. Are you going to any of the fanzones? I'm going to watch it in the Millennium Stadium, it's going to be epic (hopefully!). The boys have done us proud and have done fantastic achievements on fantastic achievements! I can't wait for tonight - the only annoying thing is I forgot my hipflask at home, so need to nip home to get it (and fill it with Jack) before rushing back down to Spoons by the stadium!
I've been meaning to go to the one in Cardiff every time there's a game but either it's been raining, muddy or I just couldn't be arsed and preferred to have my own tele and bourbon close at hand, but I wish I'd gone down for either the Russia or Belgian games as the atmosphere looked awesome. There's apparently 27,500 tickets been given away for the Cardiff fanzone so it should be a pretty special atmosphere...
