    Open minded.

Fair play to him for answering the question about last summer's debacle though.

    In summary....
We were relegated due to refereeing decisions.
The potential new owners wouldn't let them sign anyone in Summer
No blame on Ehab, sorry mate, didn't realise all that.

Well he said he'd be engaging in more communication, so fair play to him. Answered some surprisingly forthright questions as well, there was certainly no block on asking the questions that the fans want answering. I will take him up on one point though, when talking of fan disillusionment:

"It's been the most successful period in the club's history, I don't know what else we can do".
May I suggest that you restore concessions for juniors and OAPs, restore community sports clubs back to the venue that you don't own and start referring to the club as Hull City in all communications.

There you go Ehab, I've solved 90% of the fans' problems with the regime with one morning's work.

They could probably not bother with the community sports club bit and nobody would care that much, it's the concessions and Hull City bits that piss people off the most (understandably).

Cant speak for others, but I thought it was shameful. It would be bad enough to kick them out of a club owned facility, but to do so from a facility that they don't own that was built for the community, just so they could fast-track an academy because we'd overlooked investing in it sufficiently in previous years, was an abhorrent move by the club.

And then when you add in all the rhetoric about buying the club as a gift for the people of Hull and the surrounding community. I'm actually getting angry as I type...

Kind of fits into place now.

Bruce had targets which were vetoed by the potential buyers. I assume the Yongges 'bought' the right to veto transfers
    with that £6m deposit

I am sure the usual suspects will be along shortly to explain how it was a wonderful, far-sighted move that all City fans should applaud...

At least he has come out and answered some direct questions that the fans have. A bit of honesty and whilst I hope he sells tomorrow it's honestly slightly refreshing. If we are in a solid position managerially and with players by preseason I might start to believe him on that front.

I'm no fan of the Allams but I don't see a lot wrong with that interview! Jesus what do some people want, yes we want concessions back, yes we want to be referred to as Hull City but apart from that, what he said in the interview was pretty fair and his words around the intention to retain the core of the squad and push for promotion fills me with a lot more hope then I had a few days ago. Some will pick holes with whatever they say but some need to look through the hate they have. I'll be happy when they leave but am also very nervous about what will replace them!

It's quite simple - people don't trust him, and who can blame them, really?

If you're referring to me I actually praised him for the interview. However that doesn't mean I can't challenge him when he says "I don't know what else we can do?" because they can take hugely significant actions really quickly at zero financial cost.

This happens a lot on the city videos and it's fecking awful! A very poor technique and in production terms 'the camera crosses the line' or breaks the 180 degree rule. In other words, switches backwards and forwards either side of an imaginary line running through the person being filmed. The camera should stay on one side of the line. It's a no no in straight interviews like this, though it is used effectively in fiction films.
