Did anyone see the England vs Wales game yesterday? Rugby rules football will always be a poor second to Cambridge for me, but I have to admit that yesterday's game was a cracker!!!
Not for me, I saw two leads slip yesterday and hated sport. But overall the game was fantastic to watch and showed, me in particular that Wales are not that far behind England. I was expecting a hammering. If only after that fantastic interception by Dan Biggar was not ruined by a stupid lineup then the game could of finished differently. Plus Cuthbert is no replacement for George North. But this might be strange coming from a Welshmen I actually like watching England play rugby and like the way Eddie Jones teams play. Proves that we might be behind the Southern Hemisphere teams so getting their coaches which done well for Wales in Gatland could make an interesting World Cup in 2019
I must admit I enjoyed the whole game, everything about it, the effort, the work rate, the sportmanship, the respect shown both ways, the way both teams played, the atmostsphere, god the whole bloody thing, it was wonderful, especially the England win, sorry if I sound boring but I have nothing but respect for yesterdays participants, then I switched over and came down to earth with a bump, the football was on..
Missed the first 30 minutes but I thought the standard was brilliant. Real good forward work and some solid defence. Must admit, I thought Wales looked the stronger, but why their guy just didn't kick for touch instead of giving England possession for the last try, I dont know. Sort of thing we tend to do that
