    Where does it say that it's Jason Brown? It doesn't. It says a deal has been agreed, and that they're looking for another keeper as well. So the new keeper who signs might well be Brown, but as the back up keeper.

    He's also said he has every intention of signing another keeper. You're aware it's not some kind of "etiquette" or "rule" to sign your number 1 before you sign your number 2, right? Cross each bridge as it comes.

    It probably is, but I don't think Grayson is stupid enough to sign Jason Brown as a number 1 and then claim it's an improvement, after last season when Schmeichel recovered and Brown took up his place on the bench.

    He said in the interview it wasn't Brown, or Maik Taylor. At least that's what i've been told anyway.

    Marko, think we might have a bit of a wait for Joe Hart. But SG's latest comments on Kaspergate suggests that the club have someone in mind who they think is better than Schmeical. Time will tell

    Really? i hope this is wumming at its finest.

    Ive gota admit but the market doesnt appear to be a healthy place for available GK’s at the moment. Anyone else thinking this pre-season transfer market is the strangest for a long time?

    No, I believe it's just as quiet as it was this time last season. Oddly enough, transfers don't really happen when the transfer window isn't open.

    Im suprised no 1 has mentioned David Gonzalez, remember we had this guy on loan from city for 4 months. Bet you my bottom dollar he's one of them!!!!!
